Invitation to Focus Day: “Green Chemical Engineering – Get it started!”

Time: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Lineup:
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Keynote speeches on the relevance of the topic “Sustainable Chemistry” and presentation of initial developments and initiatives of the Austrian community.
1:30 PM – 3:30 PM: “The Importance of Application of Green Chemical Engineering” with contributions on technology assessment from the chemical and pharmaceutical industry, as well as cross-sectoral industrial advancements.
Location:

The event will be organized in accordance with the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Events and Green Meetings.

Public Transportation:
Please travel to the event using public transportation! It’s CO2-efficient and comfortable.

The event location, TU The Sky, is located in the center of Vienna and is easily accessible within a few minutes from public transportation, also offering barrier-free access.
- Bus line 57A, Getreidemarkt Stop; then just a 2-minute walk.
- Subway line U3, Volkstheater Stop; then just a 4-minute walk.
- Subway lines U1, U4, U2, Karlsplatz Stop; then just an 8-minute walk.
Cyclist guests are warmly welcomed! Nearby, there is a bicycle parking facility with ample spaces.
If using a car is necessary: Please use the Park & Ride facilities on the outskirt of the city take the subway to the event location! Please note that the entire city of Vienna is subject to short-term parking regulations until 10 PM.
