EUROPEAN GREEN DEAL: What does the Chemicals Strategy mean for Swiss Industry?, 13 March 2024, Bern, Switzerland

The event “EUROPEAN GREEN DEAL: What does the Chemicals Strategy mean for Swiss Industry?” takes place on 13 March 2024 from 13:00-15:00 CET in Bern, Switzerland.

The “Forum Sustainability Industry & Trade” is the new platform for industry and trade associations to discuss the important topic of sustainability.

The topic is the “European Green Deal”, with which the EU aims to become climate-neutral by 2050.

The Green Deal provides for new chemicals regulation with total bans on various persistent chemicals (PFAS) and export bans. However, many chemicals are central to the Swiss export industry, which is present on global markets, and to achieving the energy transition. In the past, Switzerland has adopted relevant parts of the EU’s REACH legislation and set its own priorities. Will it succeed again?

REGISTRATION is open until March 1, 2024. Register via email to info@forum-nachhaltigkeit.ch.
